Oooh! Not made it to Arizona yet, but these photos look amazing! Thanks for sharing.
OH you’ve gotta visit out here! We live in AZ and love it.
I hadn’t heard of Slide Rock State Park before, but I’m dying to go now! It sounds so refreshing in the hot Arizona summer!
It’s wonderful! Definitely check it out!
Loved this guide, especially because you broke it down into a perfect itinerary!!
I spent a few hours in Sedona last year, and cannot wait to go back for longer!
Thanks for checking it out!! Sedona never gets old. It’s magical each and every time.
Great photos! Sedona looks incredible. One day I hope to road-trip the USA so i’ve saved this for future reference 🙂
Alex, thanks! You should for sure!
This place is ridiculously beautiful! I love hiking but I have never seen red rock mountains like this other than in pictures. Clearly another visit to the USA is in order.
Bianca, right? We love it. Come out!
Love this post! I’ve never been to Sedona — I live in the east coast so i haven’t even been to Arizona but I’ve heard such great things about Sedona and your post definitely adds to that!
Definitely make a west coast trip sometime then.
I lived in Phoenix for awhile and Sedona was one of my favorite weekend getaways. It is just so pretty. I would love to go back and do more hiking.
That’s where we live now! Love it, especially the hikes!
Such a great guide! I love how you present the idea into tabs so I could read it easier. The place looks beautiful and there are many things to do here!
Thanks so much!! Yea we love it there.
Sedona is such a magical place. Naturally gorgeous and with such a spiritual heartbeat. It’s been years since I last visited and reading your article makes me want to back again soon. Great itinerary and photos!
Yes, it is very magical there. That’s why we go every year to relax!
So, I was supposed to go to Sedona this month…sigh. Life happens and I had to change my plans. But I love that you bright Sedona back to me even though I couldn’t go.
Aw, hope you get to go sometime soon! It’s beautiful there in the Fall.
Slide Rock sounds very cool, I just went to a river in Colombia where you can slide into the pools there, it was so much fun! Sedona looks like a great place to visit, with a lot to do!
Oh that sounds so awesome!! Yes, go sometime!
We’ve never been to sedona but would love to explore it someday. It’s so cool that you added a couple of restaurants in your guide, because we’ve always found it difficult to find a good place to eat close to Nationals Parks in the US! So we’ll definitely save this for later! Thank you!
You definitely should go! It’s awesome. So beautiful and lots to see and do.
Sedona really is a magic destination. The red rocks are such an unreal color – especially in the early morning and late afternoon. In addition to the hikes you mentioned I love the hike up to Devil’s Bridge though there is so much good hiking in the area you could debate for hours about the best trails. Never been to Page Springs Cellars but I am going to have to check it out on my next visit! Thanks for putting together such a detailed guide.
Nick, yes it is. We have heard great things about Devils Bridge so we plan to hike that one next time we go. Good recommendation!
I went to Arizona years ago to hike and have been dying to visit to hike the Sedona area. Now even more so after reading your post. With all your helpful tips and guide, I no longer have an excuse not to go!
You totally should!
I recommend Bell Rock and the Sedona Airport Overlook!
Carol, oh yay thanks for those! We go all the time so we will hike those next time!
Other than a quick day trip to the Grand Canyon, I haven’t seen much of Arizona, but I want to! It looks incredible and so full of interesting adventures and things to do.
Adelina, you should totally go! It’s absolutely breathtaking and hard to capture in pictures.
I love Sedona – was fortunate to live in Arizona for a year and made it down for a couple of weekends that year – Cathedral Rock is the most stunning for sure, and there’s so much hiking, I fell in love with the red rock scenery. Some very cool wellness retreats which I’ve heard about since having moved back to Australia, so would love to plan another trip and spend a full week maybe 🙂
Megan, oh cool! Glad you got to go. We love it so much.
Beautiful Clicks and really complete information. I never had been there but yes thinking to go. A big thanks to you.
Jenny, thanks for reading!
